WANTED: TANNING BUTLER

 

We always thought the best job in the world was backing up Peyton Manning. It isn't hard work and you get paid very well. That was until we found out about the job posting at Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. It's not every day you turn to the classifieds section and see "Wanted: Tanning Butler." But that's the case-it's true.

 

In fact, the service has been in place since the hotel opened six years ago. The butler's sole job is to roam the pool and beach area and lather up any guests who need some SPF or tanning oil. We hear the butlers don't last too long; they usually move to Europe to become male models!

Poolside TLC is not resricted to hotels either......it's a service also offered by cruise lines like Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Silversea and Yachts of Seabourn, and includes having cool water sprayed on you, wet ice cold facecoths to cool you off and delicious icy sorbets for internal cooling!
